FOX Sports' USFL Play of the Year Fan Vote: Sweet 16 voting is live

The 2023 USFL regular season was one for the books, with countless memorable moments across an action-packed 10 weeks. There is still plenty of football to be played, as postseason action begins Saturday, but before then, it's time for FOX Sports' USFL 2023 Play of the Year Fan Vote competition!

The results for the First Four battle are in, with Marcus Simms' blocked punt and Derrick Dillon's game-winning touchdown advancing.

Now, with the field set, voting is live for the Sweet 16!

Here are the matchups:

1. Dillon's kick-6 touchdown vs. Matt Mengel's 83-yard punt.

2. Luis Aguilar's 55-yard game-winning field goal vs. Isiah Hennie's toe-tapping touchdown.

3. Deon Cain's 91-yard kickoff touchdown vs. McLeod Bethel-Thompson's touchdown to Sage Surratt.

4. Cam Echols-Luper's 85-yard kickoff touchdown vs. Mark Thompson's 33-yard touchdown run.

5. Hennie's punt return touchdown versus Keke Chism's toe-drag touchdown.

6. Elijah Jones one-handed interception vs. Reggie Corbin's 52-yard rushing touchdown.

7. Ryan McDaniel's crazy one-handed touchdown vs. Alex McGough's Mahomes-like scramble.

8. Marcus Simms' blocked punt vs. Derrick Dillon's game-winning touchdown.

Votes can be cast daily via social media and the winners of this round will advance to the Elite 8.

The Fan Vote competition will run until June 29, and all polls will open at 1 p.m. ET each day and stay open for 24 hours.

In the meantime, USFL fans can watch the playoff drama unfold this weekend when the Michigan Panthers face the Pittsburgh Maulers in the North Division Championship on Saturday in Canton, Ohio. Then, the New Orleans Breakers will go up against the defending champion Birmingham Stallions in the South Division Championship on Sunday in Birmingham, Alabama.

Four teams — the Houston Gamblers, Memphis Showboats, New Jersey Generals and Philadelphia Stars — didn't make it to the playoffs this season, but they're still in the mix for the Play of the Year Fan Vote competition.
